Government legalisation requires Local Planning Authorities to provide for those who wish to build their own home. Self Build Registers have now been set up by many councils to help inform them of the level of demand for custom and self build plots. Howard Cardus 

Director

 

A Fellow of the Institute of Highway Engineers and an Incorporated Engineer, Howard brings over 35 years of expertise across the disciplines of planning, architecture, and highways.

He delivers planning and development solutions on projects of all types and scales, taking pride in helping clients minimise risks and costs from the outset. 

Howard has worked with a wide range of private and commercial clients, managing appointments from very small-scale planning applications through to large, multi-disciplinary projects. He enjoys the challenges of each and welcomes all types of enquiries, no matter how small or complex. 

 

Mark Kemp

Director

 

Mark is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 40 years experience delivering a variety of construction projects. More recently over the last 15 years Mark has led multi-disciplined project teams delivering complex major infrastructure projects from inception through the planning process to a start of construction on site. He has considerable experience acting as expert witness at public inquiries and public examinations which can be valuable when advising clients how to negotiate complex highway and planning matters. 

Derek Lawrence

Principal Planning Consultant
 

Derek Lawrence is a Chartered Town Planner and a former Head of Planning with two local authorities in Essex and a  member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Within the private sector Derek has worked  for clients to securing planning permission for large housing and mixed use schemes. He has acted as expert witness at public inquiries into planning appeals and promotion of sites to secure particular land use allocations. Derek has considerable experience advising clients on planning policy as it relates to their specific developments.

Mike Bradbrook

Principal Architectural Consultant
 

With decades of experience in both commercial and residential building design, Mike brings a deep understanding of the construction industry. He collaborates effortlessly with planners, builders, and building control to create designs tailored to your needs and budget, ensuring full Building Control approval so your project is ready to go. 

As a skilled AutoCAD user with over 35 years of expertise, Mike produces high-quality designs quickly and effectively. By taking the time to understand each client's unique requirements, he ensures accurate designs that align with expectations, resulting in fewer revisions and a streamlined process.

Oli Bassham

Architectural Technologist

Oli has completed his bachelor's degree in architecture at Arts University Bournemouth and is now planning to study part time towards his master's degree. His skill set has grown across a wide range of planning and design applications including AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign. 

Kerrie Harrison

Executive Assistant 

Kerrie will be joining the team at the beginning of March.  Kerrie has over 10 years experience in office management and client liaison.
